Class 4: How we make decisions
Our constitution sets out the overarching governance arrangements of the CCG, along with a range of supporting policies and procedures. These are available under the documents section of our website.
All our board papers including agendas, reports and minutes are published on our website. This includes minutes of the CCGs formal sub committees.
Patient and public involvement
We are fully committed to patient and public involvement and our communications and engagement strategy describes some of the plans and progress that we have made in this area.
We will involve local people, partners and staff at all stages in planning, shaping and designing local health services, and in setting priorities for West Hampshire. There are many ways you can get involved and we publish details of current consultations and engagement plans on our website.
The CCG’s Board meetings are advertised to the public and dates of forthcoming meetings, agendas and documents can be found on the Board Papers section of our website.
Patient and public involvement strategy (PPI)
We are fully committed to patient and public involvement and our communications and engagement plan describes some of the progress that we have made in this area. With the abolition of PCTs at the end of March 2013 we have ensured that patient and public involvement is included in our communications plans.
Public consultations (for example, concerning closures/variations of services)
The CCG will undertake public consultations as necessary and appropriate to geographical location; the outcomes of these will be reported within Board documents.
