Reflections from our Digital Mental Health Event - The Art of the Possible

Read below for some thoughts from Claire Parker, West Hampshire CCG’s Digital Innovation & Delivery Manager on how the digital mental health event went…

I’m reflecting on the event we co-hosted with Wessex AHSN on 14th March and am so pleased it was a success. It was great to see so many stakeholders taking time out of their busy schedules to think about how we could use technology to do things differently and support the ambitions we have locally, regionally and nationally to improve mental health services and technology within the NHS.

We saw some really thought provoking solutions and the discussions that followed are going to be instrumental in planning as we move forward with this agenda.

There was a commitment from key leaders to act on the feedback from the day and ensure digital mental health features in our plans going forward. Events are great but it’s so important to ensure there are tangible outcomes, so it’s great to hear action really is inevitable, there’s definitely a buzz among colleagues to really get on with the doing!

Thank you to all who took the time to attend the event, your contributions made it a real success.

Bring on the planning!
