Freedom of Information - Publication scheme

Introduction

This guide explains what information NHS West Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) makes (or expects to make) routinely available and how it can be accessed.

The CCG is a new organisation and commenced with full statutory powers on the 1 April 2013. Consequently it only holds limited information at present but this will be increasing as we move through our first year of business. This guide will help signpost you to the information we proactively release as and when it becomes available.

In line with section 20 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 this CCG has a legal duty to adopt and maintain a publication scheme for the publication of information relating to it. The purpose of the Act is to promote greater openness by public authorities.

For further information about requesting information from this CCG please go to our Freedom of Information section of this website.

Classes of information

The publication scheme is divided into seven classes of information and follows the current model approved by the Information Commissioner.  It is important that the scheme meets our service user needs and we have designed it to be a route map to find information about the CCG.  This publication scheme will be reviewed at regular intervals.
